Next year, our OLOL family won’t be the same. At the end of this school year, Ms. Phillipp will be retiring. For 43 years, Ms. Phillipp has been teaching second grade in the very classroom in which she started. More than 850 students have passed through her classroom, and she now is teaching some of her former students’ children.
Ms. Phillipp has always ignited a passion for reading in her students.
She has helped her students learn research skills to explore topics, and
develop literacy with information, both digital and with more
traditional things like books (which are not going away any time soon).
Ms. Phillipp would love nothing more than to ensure that books and other
library resources always be current and available to cultivate the
dynamic, changing role that our classroom libraries provide to our
students' learning.
Please help honor this amazing teacher, colleague, and friend with a gift to help create the Ms. Phillipp Library Endowment Fund.
